In 1996, two sisters, Maite and Antonia, founded Viajes CumLaude with a passion for transforming students' travel experiences. With a deep understanding of the educational value of travel and a passion for foreign languages, they established our travel agency in Barcelona. Through dedication, they stood out in the industry, offering exceptional and memorable trips.
For nearly three decades, they have turned educational travel into a vocation, positively impacting the personal development of young people. Their strong relationships with schools, teachers, and other industry stakeholders have ensured meticulously planned and flawlessly executed trips. Their commitment to quality service has led the agency to become a leader in educational travel in Catalonia.
Over the years, the agency has expanded its offerings, embracing new destinations and innovative travel experiences. The leadership of Maite and Antonia, marked by their passion and personal touch, remains evident in the loyalty of our clients, leaving an indelible mark on the company’s DNA.
After almost three decades leading Viajes CumLaude, Maite and Antonia have decided to take a well-deserved step into retirement. With their passion and vision, they managed to consolidate a leading agency in the educational travel sector.
Today, we prepare for a new chapter that will begin with a transition period. During this time, Maite and Antonia will work on an orderly handover, ensuring that the company’s values and legacy remain in the hands of the great team that has been key to our success. This team, now under the leadership of Sebastián, will continue to be committed to the excellence and attention to detail that has always defined us.
Once the transition is complete, Maite and Antonia will retire permanently, trusting that Viajes CumLaude will continue to offer transformative educational experiences. With an experienced and enthusiastic team, we are ready to face new challenges and opportunities, while always maintaining our mission to positively impact young people through travel.
