Your dedicated trip manager
A school trip to Salamanca is a four-day programme in Castilla y León for secondary school groups, organised in Spain by Viajes CumLaude. We have run school tours from our Barcelona office since 1996, and your group works with a named trip manager here and a 24-hour duty phone for the whole stay.
Salamanca is walkable end to end. The Plaza Mayor, the Old and New Cathedrals, the Casa de las Conchas and the university founded in 1218 sit within a few streets of each other, so the class covers the city on foot; the guided two-hour bike tour on the third day is there for range, not for getting around.
One day leaves the city, for Alba de Tormes and its castle and Santa Teresa convent. In town, the tapas workshop and the chocolate with churros put students inside a Spanish routine instead of in front of one, the Tormes riverbank and the Huerta de los Jesuitas give the group open space, and the stay closes with a flamenco show.
